If Micro SD is put inside S7, it will give a hint of Note6 as well (I hope Samsung learned enough about its big mistake to remove SD card slot in 2015). If not, there are TONS of similar phones out there who offer Micro SD slot. Anyone says 32GB is more than enough (around 25GB is available to user) in 2016 is living inside a cave!

Yes, because the 2015 competition simply can't compete with a phone with a wacom digitizer in it, this is what makes the Note special.
But the Note5 is actually a very bad phone. No MicroSD, no removable battery and hard to remove back cover (has adhesive that needs heating). It's a piece of expensive junk.

AnonD-100398, 03 Jan 2016more than almost 98 % of u ppl who r saying that they needed removable battery do not even use... moreYep, I mainly don't like it because of its glass design (I just hate that slippery thing), plastic is way more durable and practical for random usage and no offence, but I am not a girl who takes care of her phone like her child, and the removing of IR blaster was also sad, I have found myself using that several times! I don't care much about SD cards really, used Moto X 2013 without one for over eight months, using Note 3 32 gigs for 13 months now without one, never ran out of storage, I simply plug in my Sandisk OTG drive if I need to see some photos or listen to some FLAC. You are mostly right about the storage space reason for other people :)
Anyway, really looking forward for Note 6.

Is anyone really taken aback by this? As the sole creator of the phablet category I wouldn't expect anything less from Samsung.

I use my smartphone a lot & i had lots of smartphones with removable battery but always hated to remove the battery.
plus the ppl who says that they need the sd card there sd cards are normally filled with p 0*n LOL.
just joking abt p 0*n.
however 64gb of internal memory on a smartphone is really of a great value than having only 16gb or 32gb internal memory models & 64 gb is more than enough for approx 98% ppl hence the bottom line
Note5 is such a huge sucess even without the removeable battery and a card slot & a lack of 128gb modal :) There is just no better smartphone out there rightnow than note5.

There is no doubt Note 5 is the best phablet of 2015 because of its stylish look and awesome features . But I'm still preferring my Note 4 because of SD card & removable battery. My next phone will be Note 6 if there is SD card support.

American patent laws are very weak. that's why they can take patents for unrelevent things. they can make of use of simple things against legit competitors. what makes them special is they give wonderful names to technologies that copied from others. if it was in India we wouldn't provide patents for such simple common things . actually iPhone 6 design is inspired from HTC.

Greater phone than the half-baked Note.5 - fragile glass back, flawed S Pen silo storage, no memory expansion, no user changeable battery, and no infrared function.

Hopefully, i hope you are not talking about spe... moreI have owned 32 or 33 phones in my life, all top end, from 2004, Note 3 is my 5th Samsung phone I think, all previous being SE and Nokia and HTC mainly. It simply says one thing, I go with the flow. Brand means nothing, as simple as that. Samsung makes overall better devices than anybody else now, that's a fact, I deal with it, do I like Samsung? Heck no! I would love to see Sony ruling the Android phone market, but that's not happening sadly :(
What makes Note 5 best? The whole package. The stylus is the backbone. TouchWiz is superbly optimised for it, anyone who has used a Note won't even consider moving to anything else, unless one's a college kid. I myself hated the Galaxy S4 to an unlimited extent and moved to Moto X, because I got bored with TW and wanted vanilla Android, but then I realised I was getting one better thing, the software, but everything else was a compromise, that led to the nightmare and I'm back with Samsung.
Besides TouchWiz itself has changed quite a lot, course it sure is sluggish than vanilla Android, still, but that margin has reduced quite a lot, and that's more than enough for me.
In short I want 5 great things, 3 good things and 1 below average thing in a phone, rather than 1 really good thing and all other being average, and some way below average.
Consider this my last reply to you.

Hopefully, i hope you are not talking about speed comparisong. But i dont know whats so special in note 5? stylus? thats why it deserves top 1? no its because samsung, and people who voted has probably 40% samsung phones, so they will go for samsung for sure lol, fans.

Lets start from iphone 4 then 4s then 5, 5s, all of them were same in design, now back to 3 then 3s, iphone 6, 6plus, 6s, 6s plus dont you think from 3 to 6 same design but just the same is different and a bit thin lol and yes offource in 6 the back antina design is actually a copy from htc one lol

Software means nothing? you are soo wrong, how old are you? Software is a huge part of the phone. Note 5 is not worth to be top 1st just because it is samsung, has stylus. Nexus 6p performs even better than 4gb on note. Note 5 was released wayy earlier than nexus 6p. One more thing i dont like that note has same design over years. Not a huge point for upgrading phone it it looks actually the same. Jesus just go on youtube and do some researches.

..., 01 Jan 2016you are definitely wrong,only reason why samsung won is cause they spend way more money on mar... moreYou are living in a dreamland sir.Samsung galaxy s6 is cheaper than its Sony,htc and nokia equivalents,very slightly but still cheaper than its lg equivalent.Motorola maybe cheaper but is way underpowered but you have the galaxy s5 and note 3 @21k-23k Inr cheaper and more powerful than the moto x pure.
