I very much like the UI. It's a bit similar to Win phone 7 (Zune)but not as nice and polished yet. I like the simplicity and that it's uncluttered. iOS and Android just try to hard. I can't wait to install MeeGo on my N900.
Does MeeGo support Flash 10.1 or 9.4? I sure hope it's 10.1... Looking to upgrade phone begining next year...
Nokia really should get some better designers working for them as that interface makes the phone look like a toy. Anyone know if the interface is going to be fully customizable like android or WM? Might actually go MeeGo with my next phone as microsoft really dropped the ball with WP7.

Thank God for In Car chargers, thats all I can say.

[deleted post]how many different types of nokia? only 3 versions of iphone. is there one single version of any nokia lg se samsung that can match iphones revenue?

Sound like Intel want a bite of ARM market that currently dominate the mobile market
Zabih, 15 Apr 2010you must be blind or u must be living in a village. come to city mate you will see only and on... moreYou're probably living in USA, because, i Europe you can' see that everyone is using iPhone. See smartphone market share data worldwide and you will see that you're wrong.

is probably all you get of the mobile industry today.
However, most of us want our desktop experience on out "phones" if you get me...
And the only way you can do this, is by taking the most advanced OS ever conceived, aka Linux and putting it in an unaltered form on a mobile device.

Not to mention you can send and receive SMS-es ( as it appears even you can use different alphabet than latin one).
Anonymous, 15 Apr 2010Nokia allready did sink iphone and droids, but you are blind to see the truth!!you must be blind or u must be living in a village. come to city mate you will see only and only iphone. how many units combined did nokia 5800, n97, n97 mini and n900 sold? find that out then compare it with iphone? thank you for being so narrow minded..... i have always used nokia and se, now i have given up on both and now i am using Toshiba Windows Mobiles which really rocks apart from touch screen.
ive had the N900 for about 2 months and had MMS since day 1 through fMMS.... i love the community dev and testing apps i think its great nothing like any phone ive had before and i hope they do port MeeGo to the N900 so this can continue...
My battery life is rubbish... i have it on GSM only unless i want to use the internet when out and about. cant wait for PR 1.2 come on improved batt life!!
and i dont even use port mode on the phone i prefere having the keyboard open!
zabih, 15 Apr 2010what is all this fuss about? who cares which os as long as one can make calls and sms.

Now they all want they're own gig OS + device.
That race is lost. Who did it did it a long time ago.
All these newcomers (eg android, bada etc) only transform the mobile maket into a bunch of crappy consoles that are not compatible with each other.
what is all this fuss about? who cares which os as long as one can make calls and sms.
only if nokia really cared in the first place when they launched n900 and 5800, they should have made sure, these two devices could sink iphone and any android or rim.
nokia couldnt do it. it is too late now doesnt make no difference however many new os either nokia samsung or se launches. they will never in a million years beat apple. an iphone 3g still costs more than nokia n900 and n97. that is apple strategy and customer service power....
