Anonymous, 31 Dec 2015The keyword here is "yet". Historically, Apple devices have always gotten significantly worse... moreWell, Yeah, it hasn't slowed down yet. I am just making it relevant to the way people complain. I always expect a previous generation device to be slow. Old phones with new updates will not feel as fast as current phones.
IMO updates from iOS makes phone slow in every update....
android updates makes phones a lot faster with every update...
but updates supposed to make phone more efficient so i guess android is on the right track and apple is going backwards...
iphone cant roll back to older version... so pretty much the phone is junk( in the 1st place it was though)
but android phones you can always roll back...
iphone get update and phone wont work anymore...
android phones phones dont get the latest updates for old phones but atleast it still works...
thats why they got sued since customer was expecting it to work properly but now it wont function at all even basic necessities...
AnonD-361638, 03 Jan 2016Bro they sued them bcoz they r no longer use Tht Apple mobile now.So they are suing Apple for issuing an update to a device they no longer use?????.........wait, what?
AnonD-361638, 02 Jan 2016And Bro u also know tht many people buy Apple bcoz they thinks its a style statement and they ... moreSo people don't buy Apple products for updates, but then sue them when offered one.......you can't see the contradiction there?!?!?
I don't know where to start with the rest of your 3 little posts, plus your a fanboy, so I would only be wasting my time.
I guess I'll just leave it at this: be happy with your Note Edge, and be thankful that Samung already have no real interest in supporting that device.
Here's too Android fragmentation and limited / brief software support.......good things apparently........
AnonD-361638, 02 Jan 2016Oh really... Then tell me which phone of yours is bad after update for day to day use.n for yo... moreAnd Bro u also know tht many people buy Apple bcoz they thinks its a style statement and they must have it.and for show off.
They don't buy Apple for updates.i am not against IOS.people r free for choose their mobile.I just like Android more then Ios.nothing more.

And 2nd thing if u want to upgrade your mobile only for latest OS u have too many options in Android with veryyy less price. N u can change your company easily.
And in IOS...u know it already.
Lex79, 02 Jan 2016What????......you ever going to give making sense a try? I don't love either iOS or Android... moreOh really... Then tell me which phone of yours is bad after update for day to day use.n for your info i was using ios till 5s but after tht i am using note edge and i am very happy with it.never experience any lag in this phone.and i don't need to update it.it having everything which i want.
Yeah Nah, 02 Jan 2016While updates may not be "mandatory" who doesn't update? Yes Apple will garner quite a bit att... moreMany people do not update, what your effectively saying is that it's better not to be given the choice.
In that case I would switch to android if I were you, because on that vast majority of devices, that choice is very quickly taken out of your hands.
So Apple are ripping their customers off by offering updates to 5 year old devices, yet Android oem's are not ripping their customers off by simply abandoning most devices within a two year window??
Again, I'm not saying this story might not be true, but if Apple are attempting to persuade customers to update a 4 year old product by offering (not forcing) a non optimised firmware update, then how is that any different to Samsung or LG, Sony or any of the rest, trying to get you to update to a newer product by not supporting their legacy devices at all.
When was the last official update the Galaxy S2 or HTC Sensation, Optimus 2X etc (all from the same product generation as the 4S) received eh?
AnonD-361638, 02 Jan 2016Yes i love Android.and i am not ashamed of it.

I don't love either iOS or Android, cause I'm not that weird. I do like using both though, and have a big enough investment in both platforms (in terms of services and apps) to prove it.
Lex79, 01 Jan 2016Personally I think this lawsuit is ridiculous, of course, because it's aimed at Apple, tractio... moreWhile updates may not be "mandatory" who doesn't update? Yes Apple will garner quite a bit attention from this but, none of that attention will be good and so what an iPhone 4s is about 5 years old? I use an iPhone 4; which if the accusations turn out to be true is probably better than a 4s because it has a maximum update of iOS 7.1.2.
The moral of this story is that its not suprising that Apple would be ripping off their customers.
Lex79, 01 Jan 2016Well then your as ill informed and naive as you sound,
Just keep drinking the Android Kool... moreYes i love Android.and i am not ashamed of it.
but u r tht guy who dont like Ios but u cant admit it....LoL
regs, 30 Dec 2015that's the way emmc work. it tends to significantly slow down with time. it's not just iphone.... morethat is not true......not all phone company does this but they do have some phone company that does this and apple is one of them from the begin!!!
AnonD-361638, 31 Dec 2015really..........really.........reallyWell then your as ill informed and naive as you sound,
Just keep drinking the Android Kool-aid fella.
AnonD-442781, 31 Dec 2015Well yes. Apple is being sued because they gave the update, in other words they shouldn't hav... morePersonally I think this lawsuit is ridiculous, of course, because it's aimed at Apple, traction and attention it will recieve by the bucket load.
Updates are not mandatory, even in iOS. But the iPhone 4s is now nearly 5 year hardware, a drop in performance is to be expected.
And I see that you agree limited software software support in the Android space is a good thing?
Well I guess all those Nexus 4 users can give a big sigh of relief at being spared the horror of having their just two year old device updated to marshmallow eh? And that is by no means the only example.
Where as I will not rule out the possibility that ther may be a lack of optimisation going on in iOS 9 as far as older devices is concerned, i think this is nothing more than opportunistic BS!
So why bother to push out an update that the phone can't handle why not make the version that work stay and just improve on it... At lease u see why a note 3 won't get marshmallow and above....
