Just think about it. Apple hates Samsung so much that they're willing to buy inferior parts from Samsung's competitors, yet despite the much lower bar they have to achieve, Apple still has issues with them. That's how much better Samsung's parts are.

omg all of childish fans! Yes Samsung Oled in mobiles is currently the objective world leader....
But Samsung, Sharp, the combined JDI, and LG all make wonderful displays.

SHARP panels have historically had problems and Apple had the reluctantly go back to Samsung many times because SHARP just couldn't deliver on quality.
You seem to have terrible memory, which is why you think bottom-of-the-barrel displays are the best.

Samsung's AMOLED is the gold standard in display technology by a mile.
If JDI's OLED was better, why isn't Aplpe considering them? JDI is at the bottom of the barrel.

As an Apple Fanboy that came from an Android Fanboy, OLED has always been the superior screen. With iTunes' huge media collection, it's about time they use OLED. Their current screens have nothing on the Galaxy screens. I always saw galaxy phone screens as the plasma TVs of smartphones, well before OLED TV's started coming out in bigger screens.

Remember when Apple dual-sourced Samsung and SHARP IPS displays on their macbook line a few years ago? Samsung's display had no issues and perfect color accuracy. SHARP display had massive ghosting issues and washed-out colors.
