it behooves me to ask why the note3 has not made the update list for android 6 ..... it seems samsung is only concerned with pumping out new devices every week instead of providing better support for software and updates to their firmware.....

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2016I find it amusing how people want their 3 year old phones to get Marshmallow. XDWhy not? There's nothing wrong with the device. You can run AOSP 6.0 on many 3-4 year old devices with no issues. Why should we have to upgrade? You should be on the side of the consumer, not the manufacturer that forces vendor lock-in through awful modifications

Dear Author. Samsung Galaxy A8 is a 2015 phone. In addition, Moto E 2nd Gen will be updated. I don't know where that 3rd Gen came from.

SK89, 04 Jan 2016Samsung deserves a dedicated sticker of shame for being the slowest OEM in updating its devices.Everyone else is faster at updating becuase they go near-vanilla Android; so no big change.
Samsung makes a lot of alterations to their Touch-Wiz UI.

AnonD-484184, 04 Jan 2016What about Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, is this phone going to get an update of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It won't. Period.
Even if Sony were to change their mind, they would only add the Z1 series and Z Ultra.

AnonD-93438, 03 Jan 2016Asus and Sony for even 3 year old phones! well done to them both!Sony never TOLD they'll update the Z Ultra GPe to marshmallow, its wrong information which gsma made up.
Also, Asus padfone S is a 2014 device, not 2013. They deserve no kudos, because almost all manufacturers upgrade their 2014 phones.
Don't look at the list if you want proper facts.
