Lots of multinational companies evade taxes - a lot. Move money from country to country until it literally disappears. Create lots of charities and foundations - that's all tax-exempt from many countries. Hire armies of accountants and lawyers to do the magic. Delay payments until court forces a settlement which is way, way lower than the actual damages done. They can save themselves billions upon billions this way.

It's all part of business; life goes on.
