It was working for me and now I am running android 6 (upgraded from 5)
Still, there's no setting to change the lock-screen timeout!
This timeout is set (by the system) to be 6 seconds, and there is no way to make it longer.
Older people need some more time to read the messages before the screen turns black...
It could be much better for the user to be able to chose a value from a number of options
(like 6, 12, 18 seconds).
Hope you'll make your best to fix the problem in future updates.
