update to MM version 30D
what bothers me the most : 1-the battery/time toolbar disappears when u play a video !
2-that some features are deleted, like swiping the picture upwards to delete and downwards to share ..
3- knock code should be at least 6 taps , mine was only 5 , and i need to repeat it alot in order to open
4- battery drains so fast , more than in lollipop
i was hoping that they will update the video codecs of the original video player of the phone / adding the (Edit button) in the music player (like in Sony) .. but nothing is renewed ..
what i like the most :
1- smart bulletin update , quick circle themes 'updates
anyway i think it will be my last LG phone .. although i think i made a good choice when i bought this phone but i am done with LG

How long oes it take to upload the update via LG Mobile Support Tool or PC Suite? For me it took about 3hrs to get to 65% and then it slowed down. It takes ages... How is it for you?

Hi all
So far ony GCC version of AME firmwares were released. Those that still couldn't get the update have ARE version of AME firmwares.
Unfortunately ARE version hasn't released yet.

When I upgrade to 6 does it erase the phone or I get the upgrade with all that was on the phone before it? App etc..

No . It is not available yet ! I have checked both with OTA and PC SUITE and neither were upgraded in Iran . It seems middle east Upgrade is not ready !

So, the review (so to speak) that I promised:
I see no heating issues or unexplained battery drains (thank God, because I never had them before).
Screen on times are shorter; my guess is that those smooth animations are due to higher CPU and GPU usage, as opposed to better optimization. Looks better, but drains more power. Which evens out, because standby times are amazing. E.g. before it was about 1% per hour - so, a 10 hour standby is 10% of the battery. Now, with Doze, it would be around 2-3% for those 10hrs. But only if you really don't move your phone.
As a sidenote, the screen auto brightness is even dimmer :/ I mean really, if I wanted a Braille phone... This is because before, when your auto brightness was on, the slider provided some leeway (auto with 90% was not the same as auto w 40%) and now, the moment you turn on auto, the slider goes down on its own. And if you move it, it's no longer on auto. It's fine - but slightly vexing.
There are many other smaller things about the MM, but they're really not important - mostly my own preferences and stuff. Over all, I'm quite pleased.
