Just had to backup everything. Used the 2014 pg flash tool and went into download mode to flash the official kdz file.

AnonD-527989, 24 Apr 2016same here mate, my software is D855 20N and it says that i'm up to date on Mobile Support Tool... moreits annoying isnt it mate, i dont know what else to try to get it to work lol, and im pretty sure my phone isnt locked or modded or anything, so it should work :@

Waited for months now so did manually using lg 2014 flash tool. Chk out videos from YouTube. Flash the kdz and viola . just not an upgrade but a fresh install. Still happy as the phone became what it should have been a year ago.

First time I tried this... moredid you just keep the software you downloaded on the phone, you didnt click on the install pc programs option, that you get in the options in the notification area when you plug in the usb? i just downloaded both software onto my phone without using them, and opened up the pc suite and checked up for the update and its not not showing up, it says i have the latest sw version installed, but im still on lollipop, its really annoying me now that i cant get the update to show up at all.
