I'm not getting off Win7 and XP and Microsoft can't make me.

And Win10 seems really shady in terms of privacy.

On the graph, non-Windows OSes take more than 10%, but article says it's less than 10%. What gives?

Anyway, theres a feature called "disable" for everything if you reall... moreare you sure? really?? here's a test then as an example... try switching off automatic updates in Win 10. I think you'll find you can't. Even with the various registry hacks / hostfile updates to avoid the leaks, you're never going to be sure when MS 'fixes' things and puts it all right back the way they want with an update. I expect this sort of behaviour if I sell my soul to Google and use Android or Chrome OS (which I do, actually), but absolutely not when I'm using a 'proper' desktop OS. I actually don't think Apple have any interest in this sort of thing - they make their money from selling nice, overpriced hardware - not harvesting user behaviour data to sell on. I can't afford this myself, sadly, so I'm moving to Linux...

Don't judge win10 by reading people's comments on facebook. try it. if you just don't like it, microsoft allows you to easily revert back to your old OS. simple as that.
