Optimist Prime, 03 Jan 2016There is a huge difference between motion control and Virtual Reality....Yeah, I was just pointing out that this controller (Oculus Touch) is just not that practical, at least not compared to Kinect. I was talking about the control part of the VR.

So with technologies like the Microsoft Kinect out there, we're supposed to invest in a two-part controller, each with its own batteries that need to be charged, apart from the headset.
And for what? For anyone that tried even the lowly google cardboard can tell that the comfort level of using such a device is mediocre at best. Beyond the gimmicky aspect, I fail to see the usefulness of the Oculus (as a whole) and the others like it.
