Eske Rahn, 04 Jan 2016The red trackpoint is great, it is the touch-pad they should throw away on a touch-screen device...replying to you and the anonymous guy, i was talking about the design, not the function

Armali, 04 Jan 2016it was a good design until i saw the red button in the middle of the keyboard, who does that anymoreDell, Samsung, Lenovo, and HP all have laptops with the superior trackpoint, which allows mouse navigation without leaving the home row, and allows click drag+selecting multiple items. Trackpads are terrible, and most users of trackpad only laptops have to carry around a portable mouse to make up for it.

After all, the product was just introduced, so who knows how it will behave in real life...

Uh the X1-yoga sounds like it is time for me to consider an upgrade again... :)

Could anyone explain to me why they make a NON-yoga variant of it??? If you do not need to fold it around, then just don't, why make a separate variant that can't? The difference in production price must be negligible.... But creating two variants expensive...

Thank you Len... moreBurn-in will be a bitch on laptops with OLED because of the taskbar and menu/window UI elements if you use the same program for long periods of time.
On a phone this may be acceptable because you might just replace it after a year or two but laptops usually have much bigger lifespans.

Manufacturers should start putting 3g and 4g modems as standard technology to laptops, tablets and even desktop PCs.

Asked myself what are they waiting with OLED screens in laptop and tablet space. Thank you Lenovo for making it first and for option between 1080p or 2k display. That Is what people need. Thank you again for thinking what consumers want and not just put some specs and technologies that none is using.
