AnonD-75819, 05 Jan 2016Depends upon people what they need. Personally i dont care much about user replacable batter... moreThen you don't know what you're losing. Replacing the battery instead of charging means that your battery lasts longer without losing charge over time (2+ years), plus zero charge time! How can you not love that?

I haven't charged my phone since 2012, charging a phone seems like such a throwback, an ancient practice... Infinite battery life and no charge time is where's at with smartphones (dumb phones don't need replaceable batteries, they're dumb you rarely need to charge them anyway).

I recently completed a samsung survey in which I complained about the lack of waterproof, sd card and replaceable battery capabilities... seems many others have done the same ergo the inclusion of 2/3 of these features. At least it appears as if they're listening

AnonD-75819, 05 Jan 2016Depends upon people what they need. Personally i dont care much about user replacable batter... moreUser replaceable battery is meant as a an easy way to discard an old worn down battery in 2 years time. I am not talking about being able to swap batteries quickly so you can put in a second one. Maybe that's what you were thinking.

If you haven't realized it already, the whole in-built battery giving slimmer design is hogwash marketed by the likes of Apple first and copied soon by the others. What they aren't telling you is the whole point to this is to force the average consumer to discard their unusable phones when the battery craps out, meaning new phone purchase instead of going through the pains of battery replacements.

With user replaceable batteries when the time comes the user can easily replace it and extend the life of the phone. They DON'T want you to extend the life of your phone even when it's perfectly fine for a few years more. The MBAs at these companies see this as a way to milk the user further, that's why it came about in the first place.

Those who change Android phones every two years are in the minority, it is no wonder Samsung's sales tanked and Samsung isn't Apple to command a legion of zealots who will buy anything.

If this news is reliable, Galaxy S7 going to Rock in 2016. SD card, water & dust proof, power full processor, battery & camera, will make S7 more attractive. Nowadays almost all the flagships are coming with non removable batteries. So Haters should have to search for more new reasons to hate. Lol
