Anonymous, 05 Jan 2016Like I wrote "6 screen on time". My smartphone is in the process of replacing my work laptop f... moremost of the new phones come with Li-Po battery and not Li-ion and their battery life is supposed to be much better than Li-ion batteries and hence can take multiple charging cycles during their lifetime and hence these quick charging features.
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2016Like I wrote "6 screen on time". My smartphone is in the process of replacing my work laptop f... moreIt looks like u just sit in one place with phone on 24/7 and doing all daily human tasks including answering nature calls in the same place and just look at the phone and wait for emails .. LOL
middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016have u heard of external battery packs ?????? Yeah, your phone still discharges if you make the attempt to use it while they charge. Such a bad bad solution.
5 times the bulk of an extra battery, slow to charge your phone, extra weight, tethers your phone and a second thing to not forget to charge (as if having one thing to charge was not enough).
Basically they're an abomination that exasperates the issue of mobility.
Everything sounds great - unless it means a decrease in screen to body ratio. As an S5 owner I'd personally give up the water/dust proof if my phone could be closer to an S6 in size.
middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016And its people like you who made them go for this move .. people like you who complained "chea... moreI never said that. I was always against that. Most people buy cases anyway so it doesn't matter what's underneath. "Premium materials" is such a sham, they create a subpar phone (no replaceable battery or micro-SD) like iphones, the phone of the technically challenged as I like to call it/them.
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2016Yeah, not having to charge my phone and practically infinite battery is a premium feature that... moreAnd its people like you who made them go for this move .. people like you who complained "cheap plastic phones", people like you who complained "samsung phones never compete with apple as it does not feel premium", people like you who said "samsung phones does not feel like $600 device", people like you who said "make phones with metal bodies" ... and now u guys go and complain "no removable battery" .. u guys are just used to complaining stuff. .. there are million devices out there so find the right phone for u and move on dumbo .. nobody forcing u to buy phones u dont like !!!!
WoW. Fantastic news. SD-Card, Water proofing, 4GB Ram, Superior battery, Fast wireless charging.. Excellent
middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016A phone with 3000 mah battery should be more than enough even with power use and it will last ... moreLike I wrote "6 screen on time". My smartphone is in the process of replacing my work laptop for most things. 6 hours is *pityfull*, and it gets worse after 1 year of use since li ion lose charge over time.
What a tremendous downgrade sealed batteries are. Phones are made for kids or gadget people these days it seems, not for actual professional use (which is more than 6 hours a day!)
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2016Yeah, not having to charge my phone and practically infinite battery is a premium feature that... moreu seriously need to know how to use smartphones ... you are complaining as if the world is coming to an end with non removable batteries .. grow up man.
LG G4 has 2900mah and has awesome battery life, thanks to its firmware. Redmi Note 2/3 has 3000/4000mah, but they cant last a day, that's why LG costs more.
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2016BTW a phone with only 6 hours screen on time (that's how much modern phones last on a sinngle ... moreA phone with 3000 mah battery should be more than enough even with power use and it will last a day easily. so stop complaining just for sake of doing it.
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2016BTW a phone with only 6 hours screen on time (that's how much modern phones last on a sinngle ... moreI am saying thats the way companies are going these days. so replaceable battery is dead feature .. PERIOD. so accept the facts and move on or else settle with mid range chinese phones which offer this feature.
Apple has been doing it since its birth and samsung, motorola, HTC, and almost everyone is joining the league. So grow up and be smart. nobody gonna give you metal/glass body with removable back cover .. thats highly impossible.
middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016Most of all premium/flagship phones will not come with replaceable battery anymore. Only LG ... moreBTW a phone with only 6 hours screen on time (that's how much modern phones last on a sinngle charge) are neither smart nor premium. Because a dead phone is neither of those things, and I *need* to use my smartphone all day long, else it's dead weight. Stop supporting companies that dupe you by selling ""mobile devices" that are actually tethered to wall plugs for a good amount of their lifetime.
All this sounds interesting. I'm curious to see whether the camera will be an improvement over the already superb s6 camera.
why not release a version that has replacable battery, to respond to demand of large group of users.let sales figures tell which is more welcome
so many meaningles models out there, a, e, and others. i just wish there is a new s with replacable battery, that would be the most powerful phone i hope for
middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016Most of all premium/flagship phones will not come with replaceable battery anymore.
Only LG ... moreReplaceable battery was only "stupid" back when phones were not portable computers. I never used the replaceable battery feature before 2012. It only became relevant/useful only when I moved all my work to my smartphone (work emails, personal stuff, photos, credit cards).
It's *now* that replaceable batteries (infinite battery life) are more useful than ever. Am I living in the opposite world? Because your statement is *exactly* wrong. The more dependant we become to our phones, the more important replaceable batteries become, not less.
middlefinger, 04 Jan 2016replacing battery makes phone premium ?????? ... LOL then even $40 android phones are premium ... moreYeah, not having to charge my phone and practically infinite battery is a premium feature that $40 phones have and expensive phones don't.
Tell me what's premium in limiting your phone use when you see your battery is about to be depleted or wait for at least an hour to charge? Battery life *is* the number one issue with portable devices and a solution was found, now we regressed because people like you would buy anything that is out there.
Really it's people like you that we should be saved from.
