I think we have a Fanboy who wants some attention. This all sounds like very set up. Who leaves a "prototype" in a 3GS box and just leave it there to be uncovered? Any Apple employee that careless and retarded would be sacked instantly and fined massively!

The design also is very uninspiring. I would consider THESE leaks more credible than what GSMARENA posted:

the phone isn't completely unbootable. it is still bootable but bricked remotely within a few hours, probably by the owner somewhere sober up and realised his job is gone. http://www.unclemase.com/the-feed/2010/4/17/iphone-4g-found-in-san-jose-bar-someone-at-apple-will-not-ha.html?utm_source=TwitHawk&utm_medium=Tweet&utm_campaign=TwitterHawk-Unclemase

Obvious give away that its a fake is the CE mark on the back. As someone who does CE mark validation for a living, I can say with certainty that no product will have CE conformance on such an early prototype. So either it is near enough the finished article or its a fake... I think its the former.

until they realease the 4g,other companies will take them as they did with the 3gs.android will be the first to kick them in the a$$,why`?well simply cause iphone os you find in 1 design, android you find in tons of designs and with many software modifications acording to specific company.Nevertheless will be a nice good phone but the market share will fall for them.

I don't think it's the actual prototype. Apple's trying to make their products as much minimalistic as possible.
