ssbatman21, 06 Jan 2016u still hav no idea wat u r talking about, and no manners as well.... u r implying that xiaom... moreYou really need to go to English classes mate. Now let me educate you.
There are many reasons for not mass producing a phone:
      A) if SOC is not enough for the phone
      B) if soc has some problems when integrated into a phone.
      C) During the trial period. ( and you may know that xiaomi's CEO has been using it for near a month or even more)
What make you think that xiaomi cannot mass produce a phone and release a month earlier rather than 1 and half months from now??
Many customers will just wait a bit of time and look for what other OEMs will offer like samsung and Htc ( knowing that there is not much of gap between releasing mi5 and s7 or even m10)
Xiaomi will sell their phones like hotcakes if it will release that beast as early as possible. Else there might be the condition like Iphone 6 plus and note 4 last year.
So IMO xiaomi could and should have done this earlier.

I've got my fingers crossed for it, but I haven't got my hopes up too high QHD screens seem to be the standard for high end phones now, which is rather disappointing :(.

Lacks stereo speakers, no buy for me. QHD screen also useless. Much better FullHD which would also positively influence battery life.

u r implying that xiaomi is late to the snapdragon 820 party wen der is literally not a single phone right now in d market wid snapdragon 820..... and wen mi5 arrives, ite gonna be d only snapdragon 820 powered smartphone considering letv's limited market and ridiculously large size.(letv le max pro at 6.33" is basically a compact tablet, not a smartphone)
                              so again, get educated.....
