If the first stick only cost $159 and users can now get free win 10 update, it means intel is selling junk... Why must users now pay $399 for m3 stick with windows 10 ($309 for stick and $90 for windows 10). They should rather sell the m5 stick with windows 10 and not home but pro then I will pay $399. While they are money hungry, I will rather build a powerful custom pc for the same price. However I thought Intel wants to put a new pc in every home/hand in Africa. Haha, Intel you are crazy with your prices. When the $399 stick arives in South Africa it will cost the consumer R7500 (Rand/dollar). While the 1st gen stick now sells for R2200. As much as I love the idea of the mini pc stick, I think Intel need to rethink how users use equipment. Great to have two extra usb3 ports on the power adaptor, but where do you think that power adapter end up? On the floor, against the wall, under your desk or stand, there where you normally find your power sockets. So this means the usb3 ports are also too far away to use if using cable keyboard or mouse. And if you bring the power adaptor closer to the desk or stand using a power extention cable, one defeat the purpose of less cables. I DONT THINK INTEL THOUGHT ABOUT THE REAL WORLD USER SETUP, THEY JUST COPY OTHER COMPANIES TO ALSO HAVE A STICK AND THEN TOP IT OFF WITH A INTEL BRAND RELATED CRAZY PRICE. I will get one if the price drops to about $250, I wont pay for Intel design mistakes this time.

Holy cow, that's expensive. And I bet it will throttle like crazy in that tiny space. Core M already does in slim tablets.

Displays have started coming with the brilliant USB C port (and TV's will be out soon) which also provides plenty of power. So Intel better launch USB C version of these sticks!!!

It's a stupid price considering you can get a Odroid Xu3 Lite or Xu4 for a hell of a lot less money and use the free Android or Ubuntu images and has RJ45 lan connection. The Odroids are excellent devices. I use The latest Cm 13 Marshmallow image and the Droidmote app on my phone to use as a remote mouse and keyboard, install the Droidmote server on the Odroid, amazing device. Sure the intel device might be more powerful but it needs to be to run windows.
