"The son becomes the father and the father becomes the son"

Somehow these lines make sence now.

Stupid move from lenovo, Motorola has better software (Pure Android UI), i don't like the "Vibe" UI because lack of performance and full of bloatware

That's sad, the fall of Motorola is what led me to buy an iPhone. Motorola use to be my favorite Mobile company. The only phone I had for over 10 years until I tried other phones and went back before going iOS. At least Motorola Solutions still exist and is the legal successor of Motorola Inc. Motorola was a spin-off company.

"with high-end smartphones using the Moto branding while budget devices using the Vibe brand."

This move is a bit interesting for me. I could just imagine Lenovo's Vibe line receiving latest OS updates as fast as Moto's and I could just imagine the possibility of future high end Moto devices featuring Dolby Atmos. Both of which, by then, should exude the strength of collaboration and connection between the two company. Recently, I've been geeking myself out on everything Atmos. This news paves another relieving reason for me to wait a little longer for a Moto product to feature such audio technology. Because I've been wondering for quite some time now when would Lenovo decide to feature Atmos on Moto products. I'll be all over it once they do

Just like Microsoft now lenovo is ready to digest Motorola brand because they can't bare the popularity of the moto brand.

The lenovo sucks at making phones and meeting in customer satisfaction. They are average. If this happens hope they learn from Moto's way of making phones and follow it and won't disturb their design and ideas. I hope Lenovo won't be changing the future Moto devices UI and hardware design and making them look like garbage. Because unlike them, Moto have a reputation for making one of best phones in mobile industry.

My first and last Motorola was a V8088. Here in my country they are already dead, they don't even have a store nor a booth like store. Not even the network providers here are carrying Motorola products.

Maybe Google knew this, but looks like they didn't care much and their focus was only for the patents.

Lenovo do not do that, keep Motorola as a separate entity. It is well known name and you will kill peoples interest and you might loose the business. I buy Motorola only because of the name nothing else.

If name of motorola vanishes then it will decrease the sell in India. Coz people in India have more faith on moto than on lenovo ya lenovo products are also good but that's only in computer and tablet but in phones motorola is the gaint it was a bad move for Google to sell this company orelse Google would have there own smartphone aside of nexus

                    RIP MOTO

Motorola is always symbol of inovation hardware (first fingger print atrix 2011, lap dock 2011, razr maxx the best battery, etc), just keep Motorola, since lenovo smartphone selling decrease every year

And furthermore,Nokia is not only about smartphones, they have VR Cameras,Now one of the best telecommuniaction company(After Ericsson).

It is all Googles fault. They could've kept Motorola... Instead, they suck out the juices (Motorola patents) & threw the rest to garbage (Lenovo). Such a selfish move from Google.. & a very bad one for history..
