However, Chen' s comments are not a death sentence for BlackBerry 10. Chen told CNET his hope is that quality Android phones like the Priv and the handsets coming in 2016 will raise the profile of the BlackBerry brand.
If that happens, BlackBerry may have a strong enough business to bet on a BlackBerry 10 handset once again.

Despite the huge level of negative commenting - I believe this is great news for BB and the mobile world as a whole.
If other OEMs can take advantage of the Android eco-system, vary their skins and hardware & sell truck loads then BB is now well poised to be very successful and a welcome addition to consumer choice.
I'm excited to see what they come up with & would definitely consider a BB android device - their hardware is awesome :)
Kudos BB! Took a while but happy you finally came to see the light (before it was too late).

They become intolerant of users of other brands, and look down upon them. They disrespect freedom of choice (even if they don't, they use condescension), and the variety of alternatives of the market.
