BlackBerry, the elitists who have finally been forced to bow & eat their pride.
Wonder if we'll ever know if BB went to Apple first, to see if they could run iOS on their future devices, sell them for 2-3 times the price of an equivalent hardware and share the loot with Cupertino¿

I can see blackberry dropping support for Blackberry OS Handsets.
That would put off Blackberry users buying new ones.
Price of Android Roms if possible I would imagine would be expensive.

This move might actually save BlackBerry
Even if it doesn't, at least they tried unlike Nokia that pretty much died from stubbornness.

I never considered BlackBerry because it just lacked apps and customization support and Google integration (if one wants it). But I quite liked their designs. So, this is encouraging. I might consider BlackBerry in the future because of this.

I do hope they eventually make a phone that has a qwerty keyboard in landscape orientation. Miss those type of phones.
Loved the feeling of buttons to type.
