This is well known Amoled issue and Verzion knew that already...
They were just bitch'n about it...
Samsung replaces phone screen ASAP, it happens also S5 and S6 phones.

of course it's a hardware issue
Evidently there are other ways besides shattering the screen to ruin a phone.
That line of pixels have died probably coz of faulty amoled gamut design or calibration that affects the life of oled pixels!

AnonD-437288, 09 Jan 2016They must increase the price of the phone. Not everybody can have a phone with a green line on... morelmao good one
Maybe Apple are trying to push ad's onto the phone to buy their products instead.. They've only managed to hack one line so far, but it'll expand and suddenly pop out a full screen advert to buy apple phones as they don't have this problem.
No issue on my moto x play :) (international version) :P
it's hardware issue.
i had the same problem with the screen of my Blackberry Bold few years ago.
and the only solution is to replace the whole screen unit with the new one, there's no other way.
its a hardware issue definately. gradually the line will increase in size until the screens goes in completely
It's been there on my Galaxy S III for quite some time now
