phone are not ready to record in 4k at least in 2015. you see the weaknesses when tranfer it to your computer. focus are rubbish, noisy, limited record. the same with nokia 6600. can record for only 15sec, i think, i dont remember but its short. Same thing happen now but in different era. we can just sitback and watch the changes.

Why not mentioning the XQD-G series in the article ??it has a writing speed of 350mb/s

This is pretty fast, and a positive... moreYes, most phone with 4k recording capability can only do it for around 3minutes before it stop itself. Honestly, storage is one of the problem and overheating just make it worst. Smartphone are not meant to record in such high resolution in the first place. But, as human we still keep pushing technology over the limit just to show off how 'modern' we are. In the end we suffer technological slow-down or temporary singularity where tech takes couple of years before we pick up the pace again. Same battery tech for decades, same 4k display a couple of years. Meaning to say, technology stop progressing for awhile because we reached our limit. But, it is temporary of course. Ask yourself what have change between flagship in 2013 compare to 2015? Nothing much or better at all.

And as far as i know hybrid shooter who shoot wedding, documentary and interviews record more than 5 minutes that is why many people complaint when their a7RII get overheat after 15-20 minutes luckly Sony already solved the problem with firmware update.

Wow faster than my old Android phone is internal memory,should be perfect for a swap partition,but I tink one 32gb sdcard costs much than my old smartphone lol

Why do people keep saying external memory is a weak point? This is pretty fast, and a positive development. Oddly, the cameras mentioned can record 4K for only up to 3 minutes (if we are to believe what the press says).
