looks crap had high hopes for the G5 they have let me down looks like samsung s7 here we come.some of these companies really dont understand what people want a small form factor with large display oh i loved the leather and back buttons if they moved it to the side they must be stupid.
Woooooooow what a new bright idea sliding batteryÂ… Samsung galaxy S4 zoom is that youÂ…
I can see the future. People losing or breaking the bottom then try to ducttape it.
By the way where's the leather jacket? It might catch cold in Siberia bring back the ugly jacket boy
very good LG
just please put the 21 MP camera instead 16 and at least 3500 mah battery
Awesome innovations. Kudos to LG.
Other smartphone companies choose to compromise.
LG choose to innovate.
See the difference?
I gotta a feeling that this year will be LG's year :D thinking out of the box , some might say a gimmick others will say it's not innovation, well the second display on v10 was very useful and all oem's will copy lg's Manual video mode just like they copied the double knock and the back volume buttons, proud of lg regardless the annual profits :)
ECHLN, 13 Jan 2016This is going to break and make the phone flimsy. LG should really stop trying to please the 1... moreI highly disagree with you, I don't know the exact number but it must be more than what you have claimed about the number of people caring about the removable battery.
at least for me,it's important because it makes the smartphone more repairable, thus you have to pay less if it breaks apart.
Gmtt8, 13 Jan 2016Removable battery? thats the inovation? I could'nt believe... LG must present a evolution bigg... morea led flash is an innovation for u......sorry but for me finding a way for keep style keep slim fresh desing and keep for many users something importan t like removable battery thats innovation.........
ECHLN, 13 Jan 2016This is going to break and make the phone flimsy. LG should really stop trying to please the 1... moreA removable battery basically completely solves all battery issues. You're never out of battery (got a spare?) , you never need to wait for the phone to charge (a spare was charging while the phone was used), you never worry of the battery dying in you.
I don't know if my position is biased, but a lot of people around me use removable batteries. In the era of smartphones replacing your computer and phone for most of the thing is important to have the battery issue solved.
I *certainly* hope that what I see around me is more indicative than your percentage, because your percentage implies that quite many of the smartphone users are mentally challenged (especially those complaining about low battery after having bought a phone with sealed battery).
ECHLN, 13 Jan 2016This is going to break and make the phone flimsy. LG should really stop trying to please the 1... moreThere are a lot more than 1% who want removable batteries. Quite a few people actually. Its also why the note 5 wasn't received as well as the previous generation ones.
ECHLN, 13 Jan 2016This is going to break and make the phone flimsy. LG should really stop trying to please the 1... moreIt is more than 1% that cares, and a proven way to compete against a larger competitor is to cater to the market the large competitor doesn't care about (frequently accepting lower profit margins than the large competitor will accept). This is the same way Samsung competes with Apple.
And it won't make the phone flimsy. This is the same design as Nokia's N8, and my Nokia N8 is indestructible.
ECHLN, 13 Jan 2016Looks very familiar. A Samsung phone did this. I think the name is "Wave".True, but then HTC beat Samsung to the punch with the Legend.
Now that I think it, that glass front and back with a metal rim......I'm sure u saw that somewhere else prior to the S6 as well...........???
Anyway........what was your point again?
Optimus Black Owner, 13 Jan 2016Removable batteries are handy when you're always on the go. Yes, you may use powerbanks but yo... moreSwapping battery out and in is dumb. Get yourself a life and stop living on your phone. I have a Nexus 6p and it last me all day on normal use.
ECHLN, 13 Jan 2016This is going to break and make the phone flimsy. LG should really stop trying to please the 1... moreWhy do you think it's going to be flimsy? I believe it will be well constructed with a sealed design. Then you can just pop off the bottom and remove/replace the battery and snap the bottom piece into place.. it's really innovative and it's awesome that they're going out of their way to do something like that.. That way if you're battery ever malfunctions you can just pop in a new one. Beats having to go through customer service...
