N95 was the peak of Nokia's success in the smartphone category. Right now, only a die hard nokia fanboy will support and buy their high end devices. Good thing though, Nokia still reigns in the low end phones. It seems like Nokia went totally astray and got lost somewhere, and now they're struggling to get get back in the race. Sad thing is, others have gained so much lead that Nokia will have a hard time catching up.
Anonymous, 27 Apr 201012 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Xenon flas ,Geo-tagging, face and smile... morecorrect , that is why meego has to be on the N8, then it will be a game changer!
Sad that the phone got bad press before being announced
but happy that nokia can learn some lesson
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2010Give me a link that says what u had jaz claimed that 3-4 symbian users will switch to Iphone. ... moreI read thru all 13 pages regarding discussion on this particular topic, and at least 3~5 claimed they "used to be" users of the almighty brand but felt totally disappointed.
n82's successor is coming. it is not the n8.
A telephone is what you are
just by my side, never too far
but a camera you pack inside
a frame so small where does it hide?
Twelve million is your pixel strength
Such sharp, wide angle beauty
A dream we have waited at length:
replace N82′s xenon duty
of being true, real lightning flash
not L.E.D., what worthless trash
you bathe in light the darkest rooms
bring vibrant colours when others gloom
about their blurry lifeless snaps
yours bright as day, theirs dull and crap
cos memories you freeze in time
suspend animation whatever the weather
precious moments lasting seconds yet Iím
gonna remember them forever
whatís more, videos you also shoot
in glorious high definition
sound so compelling, others you might as well mute
this is a smartphone on a mission
to fly the flag of imaging;
show others how itís done
the compact camís no competition
box it back up, the Nokia has won
because this phone is with you always
in your pocket, just close by
to capture those spontaneous moments
cameras in drawers will miss whislt I
with the Nokia, i have the magic
of a mirror looking back at time
reflecting memories most nostalgic
the smiles from past moments most sublime.

Like EA and POPcan to make apps for it
Cause most of the apps now are just ported from other platforms like angry bird
Or some for WebOS since EA said they are porting Iphone games on to that platform
What ever people says, But I can bet Meego will be the most powerful Smart phone Os. And it will be more userfriendly than Android.

Overclocked to 1.2ghz
I wonder what's next
Vista or Win7 but more likely XP
With 64 gb storage but for now 48 lol and it runs smooth
Niraj, 27 Apr 2010Ya, I think you are right.. I hope the CPU of N8 would be overclocked same way as N900...They did it with the 5800 and it's running symbian^1 so they can do it with symbian^3 if there is a problem with the clock speed
And i know the max fof the ARM cortex A8 is 900mhz safe but 1.2ghz
Since n900 was overclocked to that speed
But knowing nokia they will atleast have it at 800 with mad downtime on standby for the battery and RAM usage
My n900 runs smoother at 700 might go for 800 - 850
