When iphone wins the benchmark:
1. Benchmark is not relevant/important
2. Apple buys them/apple gives them money
3. Not fair cause of the screen resolution 750p vs QHD
4. Antutu sucks
5. Wait till next gen chip comes (6 months later, duh!)
6. Its not fair to compare android vs ios
7. And all other excuses......
When android phone wins the benchmark:
1. Benchmark is the best representation of performance
2. iPhone hardware is so outdated
3. Antutu great
No need too feel insecure, if you don't like it dont buy it..
If you feel the price is too high, dont buy it, just buy other that suit your budget..
Performance without endurance its nothing.. Iphone sustained performance at full load is great, and thats where it really showing the performance reliability.. Other phones tends to throttling, esp snap 810, 808, and exynos 7420 to some extent.. Even mate 8 with kirin 950 is better than snap or exynos in this area..
Lets see how the battle will shape in 2016..
AnonD-98399, 14 Jan 2016good result . no wonder Iphone sell so expansive . but if you compare the 100% to 200% leading... moreUr wrong
Cpu Performance is not every thing
By ur logic
Are leading by
100-200% better screen resolution
100-200% better battery
100-200% more useful features
100-200% sound quality
100-200% charging time
So if an iphone costs 1000$
An android device should cost at least 100-200% more
The iphone should be priced no more than 550-600$ for the one with 64 gigs
So many insecure fandroid.. Just accept the truth that in 2015, A9 chip is unbeatable.. Come back when 820 or exynos 8890 out..
CPU, GPU, Storage, memory, software are the key to performance.. One of fhem fail, there will be bottleneck.. Many android device with good CPU performance, but lacking in other areas, that's why the ux is not that great.. Yeah the flagship android is blazing fast, but can they sustain the performance for couple of hours? Can they retain the speed and reliability as time goes by? (Couple of months or more). Just give credit where its due and stop feeling insecure cause its not gonna change the facts..

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2016Emmm there important but not that enough especially the antutu benchmark People hate antutu... moreThe screen resolution is to blame. Modern Android flagships come with QHD screens, while Apple phones are more conservative with HD and Full HD for the Plus variant. The older iPhones had even lower resolution of 960x640, which is really close to qHD used on cheaper Android smartphones. It looks great on a 4" device and combined with powerful GPU Apple used gives great results. Plus the optimizations are needed for just one type of SoC, it's quite the opposite in the Android world.
I finds it pretty funny that some of the peoples here totally forgets that the 'big.LITTLE' CPU architecture is not about overall performance, but it's about choices and power efficiency.
You guys should read those 2 articles here to realize that no matter how much more powerfull a Dual-Core CPU is over a Quad-Core / Octa-Core CPU, you are going to get limited in alot of things with a Dual-Core CPU.
Not only that, but i want to see a detailed overview over all of the scores the iPhone 6S Plus got to see if the iPhone 6S Plus is more powerfull in the CPU or GPU over the Galaxy S6 edge+ / Galaxy Note 5 for example.
Because i suspect that the iPhone 6S Plus scores a crap ton of points under the storage speed as the iPhone 6S models use the PCI-E interface which the other smartphones doesn't use. That alone doesn't mean the iPhone 6S Plus is more powerfull over the other smartphones.
EDIT: Some peoples over at XDA-Developers have recommended those who do benchmarks under Android to ditch Antutu and use PCMark for the phones instead as it's better: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.futuremark.pcmark.android.benchmark
good result . no wonder Iphone sell so expansive . but if you compare the 100% to 200% leading other competitor , i think iphone still selling reasonable price.
Were is windows, oh they are too big to be evaluated by antutu
I don't care about numbers, all I care about is usability ie been able to run any thing I throw at it
Synthetic benchmarks are useless.

U cant get the smoothness of an iphone 5 running ios7 (maybe 8)
On an android device except those runnin stock android with sd808 or equivalent
But still in some games even the best of android (galaxy s7)
For example cant match the iphone 5s running some games like nova 3
This bad optimized android game run at 60 fps on the iphone
Unkilled lags on the lg g4
And barely reachs 30fps on the z5/s6
But runs super awesome on the 5s

This is why Android sucks.not really
i have both Iphone 6s and Sony Xperia Z2....trust me i dont really spots any difference on performance between these two....dont spread hate/useless comment to iphone user....i am really feels ashamed

Typical android excuse, so where is galaxy alpha? It has same res screen than iPhone, so it should be behind iPhone 6, right?
In reality that res doesn't do much a difference. IPhone 6s and 6s plus have different res and yet they score almost exact same.
