What is this childish talk about, Samsung, Apple etc... These companies making their pockets full with your hard earned cash and you guys fighting about who has a bigger dick
Linas, 26 Jan 2016Had all Galaxy S phones. since the Galaxy s2 and never seen "that glowing thing". This is myth... moreReally? Put an iphone or any lg and any amoled samsung (be it note 4, a7, etc) on the table with little light in the room, look at it at an angle, tell me you dont see the difference. This is the glow im talking about and it's not a defect or wear and tear.
Mkdc, 15 Jan 2016Hopefully, unlike samsung and other companies using amoled screens, there isn't that "glowing"... moreHad all Galaxy S phones. since the Galaxy s2 and never seen "that glowing thing". This is myth of people being jealous about AMOLED screens looking gorgeous. Under normal use it will NEVER happen. It only happens to some poor display models which are on 24/7 in the sunlight and the maximum brightness. Even if this happens Samsung's screens are covered with 100000 hours warranty. As said before it will never happen unless you have plans to use your phone for 12 years, 24/7 (you know it is unrealistic).
all hail samsung no 1 r&d company in mobile computing in the past years and it shows in thier current request for products even from rivals who sue and then return crawling on thier knees for favors. good luck to apple using samsung made iphones and ipads and may they make apple devices even more appealing and enjoyable to use. bow to king samsung!!!
Hopefully, unlike samsung and other companies using amoled screens, there isn't that "glowing" thing coming out of the future oled iphones displays
regs, 15 Jan 2016Samsung marketshare dropped twice last year.It also raised. Everything goes up and down. God you are one-sided. But ok, enjoy your iPhone with Samsung screen. You are even more autistic than me :-P
regs, 15 Jan 2016Repeat. Huge threads on XDA and 4PDA and large retailers boycotting Samsung for huge defect ra... moreIf Samsung is that bad, why are they such a big competition to Apple? Did you know that a lot of apple products was launched with defects, but Still people buy it over and over? Every brand has flaws and makes doa models, but it still doesn't mean it's all bad. S6 was a big mistake from Samsung, that is true. I know that as user, not an online website reader. Try stuff yourself, not just read unlucky people.
Anonymous, 15 Jan 2016is it me, or does sqamsung pretty much make the iphone now?True.g
A royalties deal should have been signed AGES ago.
Sammy would have been far more profitable.
regs, 15 Jan 2016Repeat. Huge threads on XDA and 4PDA and large retailers boycotting Samsung for huge defect ra... moreSad that you don't read at all. Try to look a bit back. But, you apple fan boy do as always. Don't look at facts, only what you think you know. No matter what brand, there are always Monday models. Instead of showing the statistics you are asked to find, you keep on 1 thing. Did you know that many people also live by Wikipedia, instead of real life? Try to look at the statistics, numbers of made models and number of doa. I never said 0%,but I also never said 100% as you assume xda say.
[deleted post]Repeat. Huge threads on XDA and 4PDA and large retailers boycotting Samsung for huge defect rates. That's says pretty much a lot. While you got nothing to prove that Samsung has 0% defect rates.

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2016when trying to make a case as an isheep. at least read your proofs first. I did for you.
yo... moreNo, it's not prerelease models. XDA and 4PDA are consumer geek forums. So it's 100% about serial models. And i got one myself as well. And i see those defective screens all around on street and in metro.

your using a thread over pre release models to state your problem?
Well what do you expect? The device isn't even officially launched yet, what people are getting are some pre-released units. that entire thread was over pre release units.
regs, 15 Jan 2016Because defect rate isn't a 100%. And because it was much lower in previous generations.Since you know that much, then show me the failure statistics over defect units out from how many sold. Prove me wrong.
