Seriously, are they joking? It's a copycat iOS battery killer, that's all it is. It's totally overrated. Also, Xiaomi made a huge mistake by delaying the Mi5 release, they've totally killed hype. Sure, it might still be a decent flagship (SD820 & cheap, even though it'll probably have below average battery and no Android 6.0 at launch), but sales will probably be below expectations. And it's only phone with decent battery life? It doesn't has microSD (Redmi Note 3), once again, horrible mistake Xiaomi.
never use a xiaomi but seen it before. quit nice. try it from my brother in law's phone. when the time in uk for six years almost 6 month a new phone all nokia and sony. no others! especialy iphone, the screen is so nice. what I mean is not the color or brightness. is the TONE! is between black and white! is good for reading for long period and so comfie. im using sony xperia now with the cheapest model but no longer since last month. I pay for us130 before and now minimun us230:'(. I usually carry a phone and MP3 player when outdoor. sony mp3 cost me us410. I go with cheap phone and higher end MP3 player. thats my way. I just bought an ipod 6 last mothe as well. as I know from forum. between AMOLED and IPS screen. which I think XIAOMI go with IPS. from what I experience they are good for reading. and I think I will go with xiaomi for my next phone that quit economical.

Every time you go home screen from any app the launcher reloads every time. I never found out what eats that much amount of resources. Miui feels like some beta software.
MIUI really sucks they kills the app if we leave phone idle for sometimes apps like whatsapp and messenger just give their more RAM space to their so called MIUI Resource Hog. If they can't make something then make it simple, make it stock android of your phone.

I've wanted a Xiaomi phone since last January when I first discovered them but the stores that sell the phones here in Portugal have issues regarding shipping and support, which makes me a little anxious buying from them.
This loss happened because they don't release a truly flagship phone since the original Mi4 and Mi Note Pro.
They will come back to winning once they release the Mi5.
[deleted post]Xiaomi will be back again. Last year because of its expensive mi note mi note pro it dint achieve its goal. And it dint have enough smartphones last year. But this years story will be different. It will break its own records.
'' The company's expansion to India in 2014 was undoubtedly a key factor in those 227%''. Well I am not sure about this and I think it is factually incorrect. GSMArena itself have posted that sales in China accounts for more than 90% of sales(I don't exactly remember the peecentage) Sales in India was comparitatevely meagre in 2014 even though there was a lot of hype around it. So I don't think Indian sales is responsible for their growth in 2014.
The Mi5 will be kinda bullshit and overpriced as a regular known brand.
I think Meizu will be above expectations in the next years.
Xiaomi is focusing on other stuff than Smartphones from few years and this is very obvious if you see hardware specs and release dates of Xiaomi top phones.
They start releasing trash each few months like oppo.
They need to have a much larger inventory when they release a new phone rather than few phones for only flash sales. & later making them available.
Flash sales model itself can impact negatively.

Here in Portugal, the demand for Xiaomi is really good but the average buyer doesn't know where to get it online, and those who sell them, are getting 25% profit out of any Xiaomi. Example: Redmi Note 3 costs at least 240€ for 32GB (around 260$).
I paid 160$ (free shipping) for Redmi Note 2 in August

Xiaomi manufacturer now has the opportunity to relaunch the podium by new models Xiaomi Xiaomi 5 and 6 of this year. If they make a mobile configuration will please fans have much to gain in sales.
I wish those of Xiaomi further success . They have good products in the phone market .
This manufacturer has demonstrated that doing good . There are also failures . That's life.
We'll see if people ainteles message soon. When they come on the market with their new model Xiaomi 5 .
Xiaomi started well but a lot of mistakes last year . We must understand that a configuration phones and modern pieces at an affordable price and real . Do not do as Apple , Samsung, which artificially inflate prices .
