No, I never said, assumed or implied that Tim Cooks said, thought or even believed it was a failure.

I am saying that people commenting here are saying that the whole iAd thing was a failure, from conception till its eventual death, demise, closure.

I'm hoping you can grasp what is being said this time, as there are only a limited amount of ways a particular thing can be worded. Not that I have reached that limit, yet, but there comes a time when certain things start to become a waste of energy.

Tim Cook said a year ago that the ad network is a vet small part of their business... He said it a year ago and ANYONE who knows apple know's they don't like ad's intruding on their users, so logically they would remove it eventually! And you assume that because he said that the ad network is a small part is him sayi it's a failure? We all know what assumptions do, so keep making them ;)

Bringing the iAd service out (releasing it) in the first place is where the failure lies, not the removal of the service. The removal (of said service) only reinforces the fact that it was pointless act (failure) for Apple to bring it out (release it) in the first place.

      Do you understand now ?.

Completely pretty and handy phone ever. The only problem is the battery, that you can solve with the power bank. If you have the option go for it..!

The less ad's... moreWell it's obviously not bringing in the revenue that Apple had hoped (judging by what Tim Cook has said), and because of this, it is being phased out. Which to anyone with any common sense, will see that as a failure.
