dee, 27 Apr 2010well its been priced low so poor people can buy it plus it aint a top of the range smartphoneNo, Nokia pricing is often based on reasonable pricing. It's priced low so people can buy what they pay for. Last time i checked the new iPhone costs about 120 Euros to make but sells unlocked for 700-800 Euros if you are lucky. You can't blame a company for reasonable pricing, that's just ignorant. Unless it cost Nokia 350 Euros to actually make the phone, i don't see why they can't sell for it for a reasonable price.

The videos show a pre-release UI, You can see because most of the time the transitions did not work (Like when sliding the home screen) The final product will probly be much smoother and faster.

While I'm sure the N8 will be a nice phone I honestly think Nokia is a little late to the party with it. Most of the features the N8 offers, with the exception of Symbian^3, HDMI and Wifi N, have been out for awhile with in the SE Satio and the Samsung i8910.

Being a current owner of a i8910 I see no need to toss it in favour of the N8.

if it really ships with that price (370 euro) then it'd have a chance with it's hdmi port hd camera,, i think it positive that nokia decided to through more ram in the phone, and i hope it supports divex and xvid videos!

[deleted post]Why the fk do we have to wait when all the good phones are already out? Sorry, but it's too late. Nokia is so late in the game. All they sell now are budget-phones. They're simply just boring.

Apple is breaking down doors in neo-Nazi style to control what little market share they have and Nokia is releasing a brilliant piece of technology... smooth..

12 MP is good. But the UI is bad.
Android, iPhone, and Windows phone 7 are better than symbian^3.

OS is the most important thing at this moment, Nokia.
