I was using Note5 Dual Sim in Qatar and was receiving normal updates like regular Single Sim phone. Please do not spread wrong info or bash any company for nothing.

This one with dual SIM will probably receive very poor support from Samsung, previous Samsung niche devices have suffered very poor support. It might seem like you got screwed now but I think not.
