Its not an android update but windows which means a same build for all the capable devices. So theres no question that the 1520 update is being delayed becoz of bugs / refinement etc.

Who cares? Microsoft Windows phones are total failure. Nobody is interested in their phones for their cheap hardware and meagre ram. They give excuse that Windows does not require so much ram. Then Microsoft phones are so slow. Even for moving through apps they take so much transition time. Only 640xl seems to be an exception. It has got a good camera also. Rest is crappie. Lumia 950? The functions endowed to it will be seldom used by an average user. All impractical approach.

simple just because it's name under nokia not microsoft that's they forget to the 1520, this phone make noise all over the phone and it's iconic phone ever .....best off all the time phone was release...

Lumia 1520 was... morethey not ignored it but for your information the phone that get the update first is the newer product by microsoft and nokia. so the older devices they made need some more time to refine the update and you'll get it at last. don't worry. what is the point your get first but it's full of bugs. and people will complaint a lot later. just wait for your turn brother. if you're really can't wait, you can try windows10 insider. it's easy and fast, you'll get W10M instantly.

It's easy, every Nokia/Microsoft WP with at least 8 GB internal storage, and with w8/8.1 will get w10 update.

It is an utter shame that the Lumia 1520 is nowhere near the updates for WIN10. Lumia 1520 was the phone chosen by the Microsoft CEO to first show the WIN 10 OS running on a mobile device. Now the Microsoft has silently ignored it. The finest phones made my Lumia are 1520,1020 and 930 Icon. Hey, I also searched for your MS upgrade advisor app. Looks like this app is not available for the 1520. Microsoft was the Nokia's biggest mistake. Nokia,You made me feel, how the premium phones should be. I envied all the 3 flagship phones lumia 1520,1020 and 930 and ended up in buying 1520 and 1020. Waiting for your come back in 2017, Bring me a monster !
