How can be such an error in premium device?Which happens to be designed from the ground up for specific devices and a sets of specific hardware, unlike the vast amount of generic hardware (compared to MacOS and iOS) that Android (and Windows for that matter) have to deal with.

Never charged them since day one, and still sitting at 100%. I have 3,000 indestructible-almost-immortal charging cables lying around. It's amazing. The only thing that's changed is everything!

Blowing up the... moreFor a device that commands the price that the iPhone does, and all the paid services that go along with owning such a device for an ecosystem such as Apple, even the smallest issues should be criticised considering an owner is signing up to a paid service.
And Apple has no excuse for sloppy mistakes considering the profit they make on every device/service they sell.
