WhatsappUser, 19 Jan 2016Go to LineHow many ppl actually use that? That's right, hardly any.
Everyone's on Whatsapp so why not make it the best?
Its been very slow changelog-wise ever since Zuckerberg acquired it.

Hence I last used it eons ago. The 19th century jest, is exactly that mr take everything literally ;) i care not for useless features. My main messenger is iMessage.
AnonD-362866, 20 Jan 2016Bleh if you live in the 19th century yeahDidn't know mobile phones were available in the 19th century. BBM has way more features than WhatsApp. If you don't even try it out, then you can't talk shit. Plain and simple.
Yesterday Whatsapp sent to me a notification indicating that my new expiration date is "Lifetime"
mine lifetime since 2011

I think the only person I talk on the phone is my Mother, she's not much of a tech user otherwise I would text or message her too. The only problem with WhatsApp is the issue of giving up your personal phone number to people.

I got the notification for the free lifetime access but shortly after i got another notification telling mt that the yearly payments are back and that my subscription expires in July. I have never payed for whatsapp and if im forced to...ill just chuck it cause not all of us have credit cards. There are many ims out there like imo hike and viber.
AnonD-362866, 19 Jan 2016People still use BBM? Lol wowA lot actually. Blackberry has made MAJOR improvements since first releasing it cross-platform. It's definitely my favourite messaging app. Most features. Stable video and voice calling, plus many more like timed messages and retractable messages. Some of the things they add are pretty cool, and useful.
Frankly speaking, I never paid for Whatsapp... And till today, years after my first use, I have no idea why. Absolutely no idea.
Its not a big amount but the app never prompted me to pay for it.
Even if they would've asked for donation, I would've given gladly, seeing that the amount is so little, but it never prompted me properly....
luqman98, 19 Jan 2016Source?That's the beauty of the third world.
To be honest, Whatsapp is still an irreplaceable communication app, at least it is in my country and many others.
Other messaging apps have different features and such, but whatsapp still remains the most widely used and important.
I have never come across a single person who does not have the app, unless they do no own a smartphone. But apps like wechat, Line, Telegram, are all hit and miss. Some people have them some people don't.
Too late
why don't they make a permittion regarding group invitation instead of this?
so everyone can't invite someone to group freely..
are they will not listen to the users opinion?
just like people talk to the goverment, they won't listen.
more famous the app will be more arogant they are.
i laready have paid for 5 years for this bastard app.
so what did my money for??
Make a permittion for a group invitation, wtf!!!
