Driving backward is a function and won't break the car. Inserting the S Pen the wrong way would break the mechanism and hence Samsung fixed it.

Carelessly driving off a cliff is akin to falling off a cliff due to not paying attention while using a gadget.
This time the manufacturer is in no way at fault.

This has never been an issue. Samsung has just not taken into account the fact some users will be dumber than goat toddlers, period. If someone gets in a car and drives backwards off a cliff it's not really the fault of the vehicle manufacturer, is it?

Mkdc, 19 Jan 2016note 5 doesn't really lag but considering the spec check list, i think people are disappointed... moreIt's not sad, it's just optimization. When the same company manufactures the hardware and software, it's not that hard to make your device lag free. The main problem with Android will forever be that while Google writes the software, there are hundreds of companies making hardware for it. This makes a tremendous difference.

AnonD-455364, 18 Jan 2016only stupid will insert it wrong, what`s really wrong with you guys :D blind? The older note models would have a resisting force to stop you from inserting it the wrong way, much like how usb ports that aren't usb-c won't let you insert the wrong way. Much like how doors knobs/car ignitions would not let you insert a key the wrong way.

Mr. Oh-so-perfect, not everyone stays focused 100% of the time. And there is this thing called Poka-Yoke by the Japanese, something that this billion dollar company forgot to implement in their QC.

It was supposed to be a thought-provoking question.
Who knows a group of customers feels cheated by Samsung and thus files a lawsuit demanding some kind of compensation or replacement for "broken" hardware.
(If it ain't broke, why fix it?)

                          ;-)

It is sad that a 2gb 2 cores iphone performs faster than a 4gb 8 cores top android phone

AnonD-404798, 18 Jan 2016mine was so horrible that I sold it for cheap price after two months of usage and I endured on... morethese rams in use means that system uses it. More ram it takes, better/faster/smoother android should work. Touchwizz is heavy. That's why I don't like Samsung even though km still here with my old galaxy ace 2 which had 4.1.2 update latest. I'm now here with stock based rom 5.1.1 will go in 6.0.1 even soon. I have about 60% of ram in use already. I don't feel any special lag in OS but damn, it feels a lot when you do multitasking... Can't even keep YouTube playing in background and use another app. Phone randomly freezes. But its kinda fair as I bought it back in 2012.
