Gogo, 19 Jan 2016You're wrong here, P8lite does support OTG! I plugged in thumbdrive otg it has no response, I assumed it needs a powered otg cable to make it works.

Really love the direction that Huawei is going. This company is in control of its portfolio from the chip-making end all the way to the design.

They've simply shoot for the moon and more often than not, their product outshines their chinese counterparts and also the major manufacturers. I'm anticipating the P9 Max with (hopefully) a 6.5in screen, kirin 950, 4gb of ram and ~4400mah battery.

I really love the last part. They should have made it max 1080p to make that statement legit. Qhd is really power consuming.

QHD resolution display. The reason is that Huawei doesn't consider the resolution worth the trade-off in power drain.

Besides all that Huawei uses absolutely the best IPS panels, best contrast and color gamut reproduction on the market. Those who haven`t used a Huawei flagship display, it`s not a Super Amoled, but I actually preffer Huawei's choice(AMOLED's colours are highly saturated and cartoonish)

AnonD-292864, 19 Jan 2016QHD is useless for phones. Sticking with FHD is right thing to do. Agreed. Even FullHD at 6inch give a very nice 367ppi. More than enough.

Huawei is sensible coz they know the limitations of HiSilicon Kirin 950. The T880 MP4 GPU can't handle QHD well. Huawei makes Good CPUs thing is that they don't concentrate on making better GPU an MP8 or MP12 GPU would have made the price worth it

This phone would be interesting if it ran Windows or any other OS instead of Android. I would consider it even if it ran Symbian.
