Anonymous, 20 Jan 2016hows the ios 9.2.1 running on i5s guys? im just sceptical to update mine. pls helpDo yourself a favour and do not install the update as it will make your mobile slow as a snail. I have experienced this on my iPhone 5s
Eske Rahn, 20 Jan 2016Oh come on... Everyone can bring their phone/phablet/tablet to a friend or a repair shop that ... moreYou know its not that linear. Plus, name the brands who actually kill your warranty if you do it and they happen to detect it.
Like I said before, you can, but you are not supposed to, and most brand don't want you to.
And once again, to end it, I prefer 1000 times, a brand who keeps my phone on the latest OS version for 4 to 5 years, even if my phone gets a little slower, than to spend 600€ and then feel outdated not even 6 months after.
Android Hero, 19 Jan 2016Another force update... Would have thrown away this phone already if they forced me to update...Who's forcing what update now?
Sorry dude but calling yourself 'Android Hero' and then expecting to be taken seriously on a thread regarding iOS is a bit of a stretch eh?
Why don't you stick to all things android, where apparently you are in someway, a hero!

AnonD-210597, 20 Jan 2016You know as well as I, that no one offers a simple downgrade option. You can do it with Androi... moreOh come on... Everyone can bring their phone/phablet/tablet to a friend or a repair shop that can do the downgrade on Android (and I assume any other OS than Ios).
Muthu, 20 Jan 2016I guess it was a response to a person who posted "Meanwhile android flagships lag like hell".Ah O.K.
Well I've never seen an Android flagship lag or be choppy so soon after sale, maybe after a couple of years of usage & when it is succeded by faster phones, then maybe yes. But this can be mitigated.
AnonD-210597, 20 Jan 2016You know as well as I, that no one offers a simple downgrade option. You can do it with Androi... moreTend to agree with you, that 99% of Android users won't bother learning how to downgrade the OS version in their mobile. But calling him intellectually dishonest may not be fair. Probably he knows how to root and install custom ROMs and it must be so simple (I don't know about it) that he assumed it is not a problem at all for android users, even though it is.
lulwut, 20 Jan 2016You have iOS running on your Nexus 5?I guess it was a response to a person who posted "Meanwhile android flagships lag like hell".
Eske Rahn, 20 Jan 2016Sorry if the three lines were too complex., let me try three additional ones...
There is no... moreYou know as well as I, that no one offers a simple downgrade option. You can do it with Android, only, and if, you have enough knowledge to do so, and the percentage of people who do is extremely small. The average user, probably 98 or 99% of Android users, are stuck on the newer version as much as any iOS user...
Try not to be intelectually dishonest please.
can they just please enable the Facetime in UAE
AnonD-467680, 20 Jan 2016At least they update their phones. Android phones are lucky if they received an update or two... moreActually, youre wrong , i have had 3 major updates and they fix stuff and don't slow your device down. Same can't be said for older iphones and ipads. Can you download a song directly from a website on your device? Can you drag and drop anythign you want onto your phone memory or even add extra storage? How much exra must you pay to buy a higher storage capacity device? The list can go on and on. By the way , i am no fanboy, i have an iphone and ipad mini 3 and an Android device. The things i can do on my Android { a whole lot } compared to the things i can do with my iphone doesn't come close. I like my iphone lots and my android. Grow up and get a life. If it circulates around bashing other people about what os or device they use then you are a sad lonely waste of space stealing oxygen from the earth.
When i installed ios9 app store too slowly open
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2016Apple does multiple OS updates within a month and there's still bugs .They should have 800 peo... moreyeah because iPhone camera is far more ok than any smart phones you ever know
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2016Runs nicely on my Nexus 5.lol, try on nokia N95 also
I see a lot of comments here from people bashing Android for their update program. Not quite sure why, a lot of the updates impliment new features & Google will fix bugs/issues should they arise, as Apple are doing now. Also, despite the fact that there is fragmentation of Android (due to the fact that so many devices & device manufacturers use Android) a lot of the update issues can be circumvented by rooting your device & flashing a new ROM on it. (Go on XDA Developers & have a look)
With the exception of the White D00Rs firmware, (which can only be used on very old iOS devices) once an iOS device has stopped receiving updates, it's obsolete.
