AnonD-210597, 20 Jan 2016Right. Much better to be stuck on old OS versions... congrats on your 2015 device with 2013 OSSorry if the three lines were too complex., let me try three additional ones...

There is nothing wrong in offering people a choice of a newer version of an OS if and ONLY if, you get the option to downgrade to an older version, if the new version works worse on the device.

Without the downgrade option, it is a question of tricking people....

people with older apple devices donot update its the biggest scam apple is doing nowadays , i used to love my ipad 3 till ios8 after updating to ios 9 and further the bugs keep on increasing from lag in videoplayback in gallery to frequent freezing and restarting i mean seriously a 60$ chinesse tablet runs smoonthly as compared to my ipad . Apple thinks that they can force their users to upgrade to newer apple devices by doing so but actually they are ruining their reputation !

Apple does multiple OS updates within a month and there's still bugs .They should have 800 people working on their mobile os instead of their camera

                                How to get software updates:
iOS: Settings -> General -> Software Update
                                Android: Buy a new phone.

                                Lol

Unlike Android, Apple updates are universal. Just look at that pathetic android, some are on Marshmallow and some still on Jelly Bean.
I feel sad for the users who pay their hard earned money to android to get intermittent OS updates. Google should look into this and atleast make all the compatible android phones on the same latest OS version. When that happens, Apple is sure to take a big hit (below the belt).
