Migrating to marshmallow (Android 6.0) was quite smooth on my Moto G2!
Sure, it took me a lot of time (a total of over an hour) in uploading system SW and in the Upgrading process.
I love my Moto G2 phone more than my past smart phones of high brand image!

The moto software updates site says the moto g 2nd gen android 6.0 roll out began in Feb 2016, but I haven't received any such notification. Has anybody else got the update notification yet?

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2016For all you know its just release notes. I had the Moto X '13. The release notes was available... moreWindows 10 is continuing to be delayed...it was expected in November...now no one is even sure and all we have are just rumors...Microsoft is completely quiet.

AnonD-466006, 21 Jan 2016Meanwhile I am still waiting for Windows 10...should have gone for Moto instead For all you know its just release notes. I had the Moto X '13. The release notes was available in April but i didn't get the ota until late july. Where as Lumias are being updated right now.

My Moto G 2nd Gen just got updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow version on 19th January 2016 through the OTA. Smoother and better comparing the previous version of Lollipop.
