Interesting comments, this is the first time I've read serious comments without the 'first, second, etc....'

I do hope they make good phones so that we'll have more and more options.

It could have been better if HTC been able to acquired it.

This is a very good deal for all involved, Palm get the money to develop WebOS they desperatly need, and HP get the best Mobile OS (absolutly hands down) to throw into tablets, and also a way back into the very valuable smartphone market which.

Just think how awesome a WebOS tablet would be.

Although I wish Palm and their WebOS the best, I can't help but feel that Palm in the hands of another company with a more impressive portfolio in smartphones would have been better. Let's see what HP will do with this.

1.2 Billion is too much money though for Palm, to me that is overpriced less then a billion is what I would have believed they were worth. Enough of the ranting though Palm will finally get the funding they need to do the things that they want to create. I hope they make the best use of there new partnership!
