Nokia and Blackberry tried to buck the trend and it didn't help them. Samsung thrived with android - not their Windows, not their bada, seems not tizen either. Sony also survived with android. LG too. HTC also tried other OSes but android is what kept it going. Other phone companies are built on android, though they've tried others. Nokia sold out to Microsoft at the expense of hundreds of jobs lost. They betrayed the people who built the company. They chose Microsoft $$$ over the obvious way to survive and compete. Nokia hardware with android code and a layer of skin/interface reminiscent of Symbian (already familiar with the vast Nokia fan base) would have beaten the competition. Maybe even given Samsung a hard time.

if nokia went to use Android then , I have forget it nokia forever , I have been using android from day until now n I found most of the problems starts after 7mths n until I have to buy next phone , hope nokia will have android n windows version . tx
