SD615 ---> low -end models. (around Rs. 7k-9k)
SD650 ---> mid-range models. (around Rs. 12k-14k)
Latest from intel ---> high end model. (around Rs. 20k-24k)

What Asus should do with do with the new Zenfone 3:
1) Intel Atom X5 and X7 processor, both these processors are powerful and 4K capable, so using them would make Zenfone 3 the first Zenfone with 4K capability.
2) 4GB RAM for multitasking.
3) Full fledged Windows 10 OS, since X5 and X7 are x64-86 processors they can run full fledged Windows 10 with ease. Forget Continuum, with X5 and X7 one can get the PC experience in the size of a phone.
4) Windows 10 will negate the need of PowerVR gpu, Intel can use its own HD graphics gpu instead of it, this would save them substantial amount of money.

1280 * 720 on a 5.9 inch screen.

That doesnt seem right. A 720 screen on a 6 inch phone is gonna look quite bad by 2016 standards. Come on ASUS, you can certainly do better than that.

i doubt it will be the specs of the zenfone 3,
Asus has already confirmed the Zenfone 3 will have a USB - C connector and a fingerprint sensor,
and seeing as the price of the atom x5-x7 CPU's is equalivant to the SD 650 but with much better performance,
i doubt the next zenfone won't have an atom x5 for the 199$ version and a x7 for the 299$ version or x5 for both of them,
i also doubt that asus won't use 4GB of ram on that phone, seeing how they showed off the Zenfone 2 being the first mobile phone in the world sporting 4GB of Ram, as well as all it's sub-models sporting 4GB of ram except for the low budget 199$ models.
my assumption is the Zenfone 3 299$ having an atom x5 at 2.6ghz, 4GB of ram, 32,64,128,256gb of onboard storage, a FullHD 5.5" IPS+ display (the zenfone 2 screen was kinda bad in direct sunlight) and a 3200mAh battery or equalivant, with fastcharge 3.0 and USB Type-C.
if asus does that, screw the S7 and the G5, and even the Sony X Performance, the Zenfone 3 will stay the biggest bang for buck phone (atom x5 is equivalent to SD 820?)

I doubt Asus is going to put 3gb of RAM into their 'flagship' phone seeing as the Zenfone 2 had 4GB of RAM and Asus is proud of that. The only thing confirmed about the Zenfone 3 is that it will have a fingerprint scanner. Keep in mind that Asus is pushing really hard to get it's name as a smartphone manufacturer they are going to push boundaries and release some really cool phone this year!
