In my eyes, the Note 5 winds hands down because:
1. It has the best display on a smartphone ever.
2. It has a pen which let's you be really productive.
3. It has alot of usefull features like Multiwindow.
4. It has the overall best camera. It's at the level of the LG V10.
5. It has a modern design that looks clean and fresh. Yes, no massive bezels around the screen and no poor 'screen-to-body' ratio'.
6. It has the best sound quality between those phones here.
7. It has the best design off all phones out in the market now.
8. It has an awesome battery life. It has the best battery life between the phones here.
I could possibly list down more reasons, but this is the most important reasons why the Galaxy Note 5 is the best phone here.

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2016In deed, my S5 got stuck on 5.0 version ( unbranded phone)That is exactly what I mean , Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen (2nd Gen update is being worked upon) gets Android 6.0 whereas Note 3 and S5 don't get SH*T.
And these phones are sufficiently powerful to handle 6.0 easily.

Note 4 vs iPhone 6S = Note 4 wins
Note 5 vs iPhone 6S = 6S wins
Why? Note 5 is back in time, it has no SD slot, fragile glass back andere Exynos soc (forget custom roms when Samsung quickly stops the support).
This poll is as useless as the previous one, people go for the Note 5 because it is Note 5 without knowing that for example Nexus 6P, Lumia 950 of even iPhone 6S are better.

any of this phones is bad choice in my opinion but if 950 wasn't windows phone it would be probably the best but since it is then note5 wins here....

Talking about the platforms, I've used all the platforms and all I can say is iOS is really the best, though Android is not far behind.
Windows Phone/Mobile is not yet there, though they're already stepping up their game, but I don't think that it's enough to made iOS or Android users switch.
iOS, so far is the best imho. Why? Simple. CONSISTENT. Everything in this platform is so consistent. It's a closed-source OS and I think iOS really benefited from it.
Android however is still a good OS. There's freedom in customization, no iTunes. But, the consistency is not there, specifically in apps.
I really love how apps work on iOS and how iOS jus works. Though, you cannot have one of the killer features on Android, like multi-window.
On the phones side, Note5, 6s Plus, and Lumia 950 XL, out of my 100%, I'd choose 6s Plus (55%), then Note 5 (40%) and Lumia 950 XL (5%).
Just choose what suits you and you'll be happy with it.

This battle should really only be between the iphone and samsung. The lumia would be a decent phone if it actually worked the way it was supposed to, bugs are everywhere and in a lot of key places. Plus plastic? There is no compasion, it shouldnt win anything at this point and certainly shouldnt beat the iphone

This has little to say about how good of a phone it is. This poll is "what's the best phone", not "what's the best fashion statement". We already know the answer to the 2nd question.
