As technology progress the size of screen need to be larger. Just like tvs. You don't see people demanding for 15" or 20" screen tv anymore. People want it big, need it big. It is undeniable needs. What can you do with mere 4inch screen compare to 5inch or 6inch? Is there advantage other than having a particularly small and pocketable phone. Like please, where do yoy think people put their phone these day. I hold it in my hand as I walk. Women have purses and handbag. Some men carry satchel to put their phone or put it in their coat inner pocket. Pocket? You don't see that everyday. This sheep edition iphone is just a leftover from iphone 5, 6 & 6s.

Apple cannot make compact big screen phones since there hardware knowhow is very low compared to others. While other brands have 80% screen to body ratio apple is years behind with 67%.. They should rather put a 4.5 or 4.7 inch screen into 4 incher foot print. There is no difficulty in using phones with slim bezels.

if apple use older hardware to make a new smartphone than it will bring the same market reaction as of previous one also if apple borrow something older than it definitely show intention of what it think about people who has only budget to midrange level phone

Has no one figured out that the iPhone 5se is really an iPod touch 6th gen with NFC and LTE. Think about it, the iPod touch has the same display, processor, camera's, storage, and ram.

It's about the so... moreYou are correct regardging the high RAM because of the poor OS (You can add the useless apps from Google too) but you need to think twice about "outdated" hardware of Apple because you still carry a big phone with a small screen. (67.7% screen-to-body ratio for the Apple iPhone 6s Plus)

Now the big question is why they don't update the ("outdated" hardware) like the "updated price" ?
I will not go against them but if the other companies can do it then Apple need to do the same :)

6s Plus is better with 2750mAh, smaller than 2750mAh or bigger than 2750mAh is better?

that small screen device can only be good for call a... morei presume for some serious gaming or YouTube a tablet or ipad will be and it is better. Every phone is ok if you doing some random game while waiting a bus or else.
