dd, 25 Jan 2016They have made the back ugly. The k3 note was much better.K3 had that traditional Chinese form factor while the k4 note copied its desgin from nexus 5. However k5 note has quite the revolutionary design a break through from the same pattern. It's a great original design. I don't think I'd call it as ugly

Redmi Note 3 had the same specs but it came with a metal body. It's the reverse with this K5 Note. The new Redmi Note 3 Pro comes with the same metal body but with a far more powerful chipset.

the one released as k4 note is not actually sucessor to k4 note they just named A7010 as k4 note and released it in india which is already available 1 month before they released
Chinese always get the best stuff ,not a surprise as these phones are made in china and there is tight competition between xiomi,lennova,meizu,letv

Looks like a pretty sweet device!
I'm happy with my Note 5 though. Though i would like to have a 1.5watt speaker. The 1.2 watt one sounds pretty good however. ...after hack and boost that is. The 1 watt one in the Note 4 was much punchier stock.
Two of those would be even better

The reason? mp8 and mp16 are a lot more powerful than a smartphone needs, consumes more power, and produces more heat. particularly mediatek, used by budget manufacturers, some with little to no budget for thermals, thus needs to sacrifice power for compatibility and power efficiency.
