Who in their right mind would pay more than $50 on a Chinese piece of stuff? Especially considering that it's running the worst OS currently on the market.
I'd better buy a 3 years old Nokia than something like this. Superior quality materials, superior OS, superior camera, half the price.

Yes , the sales have been poorer than expected but that is only because it was not able to meet the crazy high expectation that investors set. Apple launches only 2 models per year as compares to tens ( or even hundreds for Samsung) and still rakes in more profit than all these companies combined. Alphabet may have made more profit but it is not because of Android , it is mainly because of advertising business. So , perhaps it is you living in a bubble.
And before you make another senseless comment can you please care to comment on the excellent competition provided by the Chinese manufacturers and these "Global" companies declining profit ?

Because of Chinese manufacturers , big names like Samsung , HTC , LG and Sony have suffered greatly . Samsung's profits have fallen considerably , HTC and Sony are making heavy losses , LG has a single digit profit margin.
Because of the legendary Steve Jobs , Apple still has over 90% profit margins and very good sales too ( enough to sustain them for the years to come).
