Not to mention freaks like me who still doesn't trust any order online (worrying credit card or whatever $ related info be stolen), most customers would like to test the actual unit before making the purchase decision.
E.g. when I got the iphone for my wife, we passed by a shop and simply wanted to "check it out", and AFTER testing the unit, and AFTER being warned about the inability to do this and that, we still decided to put our $ down.
I'm using Milestone right now and I like Google phone (plus Moto), and there are people out there who don't mind to have a bigger screen...better for the eyes.
With 3.7" screen on my Milestone, I'm having a hard time browsing the web on my Q9 on a 2.6" screen and want to trade it in for another Android phone ASAP.

The main problem with Nexus One was that they did it for the worst Mobile provider in the States. That's why the sold so little. Motorola don't make the same mistake. Verizon or AT&T does not matter. Great looking phone. Make the right decision choose the right provider.

By the time this Moto device is released, I'm sure it'll be on Android 2.2 or above. Yet X10 might still be on 2.1, if not 1.6....
Build quality? How about voice quality? No other brand can beat Moto in the voice quality area as of now.

Yeah, there was a so called "promise" for upgrade, but when? If SE cares so much about its customers and being the most tech advance phone company, why not even release X10 with Android 2.1 in the first place?
My speculation is when X10 is upgraded to Android 2.1, the rest should be in Android 2.2 or above.

Nexus One, it looks like HTC Hero which is 100 times superior than Nexus one and much cheaper too and got mobile of the year 2009 award in all aspects.

Raj, 03 May 2010I have a Nokia N900 and love it, But the X10 is getting tempting...this phone is also pretty s... morelol you're asking how much this will weigh after using the N900? lol anything will be lighter than the N900. I have one as well and the only thing that will replace is the next Meego device. Don't care too much for Android on my Droid.

I have a Nokia N900 and love it, But the X10 is getting tempting...this phone is also pretty sweet. However 4.3" is overkill! How much would this tihng way? To me once phones pass 4" screen size it gets to the point to where the compactness of a cell phone means nothing.
I wish Moto good luck though they have shown that they are serious in coming back.

SE X10 is way better, I trust Sony much more than Motorola, all I want is just to update my X10 to Android 2.1 or 2.2 in september (the update will come in that time)

4.3 is too big por me, it wont fit my jeans :-\ , where's the xenon flash? And where's the 1 ghz processor? The milestone lags because the cpu isnt powerful enough
