you cant argue with the best screen, camera, and quality.
the wave with kick start the bada os and in a couple of months we'll see thousands of apps come on line. we've seen how smooth and speedy the ui is already. samsung knew that symbian was hopeless and will not touch symbian crap with a light pole. imagine omnia hd with bada, no even android, windows or anything but symbian. you cant fix symbian with updates, its just hopeless.
hopefully in the future it'll be apple, bada, windows7, android, blackberry os. in that order.

in the last 2 years i have had. . . Nokia's ( 5800 -5730 - e63 ) . Lg viewty. S.e vivaz. And now a samsung omnia i8910 hd..apart from the e 63(great phone) nokia is so far back in the mobile race..my omnia just blows away the 5800,5730, and anything else put out by nokia..i expect the wave will do just the same..as for the s.e vivaz, it was worse than the 5800(if thats possible)so to all you samsung knockers, lets wait and see what nokia can come up with..my guess is more of the same (made in china rubbish)

Nokia has best communication technologies...(wlan, gsm inventions )
Samsung produces chips, displays, cameras....
Iphone (apple ) biggest appstore in the world.....
SE music audio enhancements and devices
the question is not who is the best....
the question is.... " Whats the right device for my expectations ? "

@ Raj Actually i beg to differ with u there. i had the first samsung touch screen fone, the tocco and i thought it was amazing. i never ever had a problem with it at all, and as someone has already sed, samsung is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of any company making phones at the minute. the iphone is naff, this fone looks awesome and cnt wait for its release in the uk in the next few weeks. big seller here me thinks.

Look Omnia series, almost always there firmware updates every month. I'm glad Samsung now has left the Symbians. Galaxy Spica has also been updated to Android 2.1 faster than others.

Because on the Samsung Jet only Java and most of the apps are crap !
But Wave has a new touch panel technology....
Atmel maxtouch panel which has better performance then the one of the iphone ...

Never easily trust samsung,they fill their specs sheet well with a lot of exciting features but in the end they abandon their users and completely forget about them. I once claimed the omnia hd to be the best phone ever made by that time and spent a lot of money to get it,in the end it had many bugs,the web browser kept on crashing and as time passed by the mid range nokia 5800 got more firmware updates and got a lot better even its web browser is currently miles ahead of the omnia hd. Every os has its own faults,bugs and other issues,bada looks promising but without proper customer support this device will be another FAILURE i hope samsung realizes this and takes this device seriously.

well... yes... nice hardware, but, todays market is focus in application, so... what about the OS system? Bada?? i dont know, just have what? about a hundred applications to offer? like the new Nokia slogan pray : "It's not technology, it's what you do with it" , and what u do is applications, applications , applications, if u dont believe me take look to iphone, a verrrry below average hardare specs, but... is a winner, why? well about 200.000 reasons in appstore why ,
P.D: im not a iphone Fanboy , im an Android fanboy jajaajaja, and i think this phone with Android OS will be a Bomb....
