Anonymous, 27 Jan 2016They should cram a Skylake processor into that thing. Records will fall.Any chipsets intended for Laptops, PCs and other high computing machines will drastically drain ANY mobile battery and will overheat.
Those were NOT intended for mobile use as small and thin as 10-inch tablets below

Same low end IPS panel that drains the battery and constantly shifts brightness on its own? If that's the case then this should remain in the bargain bin.

What's the point of having 3000mAh if it acts like a 2000mAh device? At least Intel's SoC isn't to blame but the cheap IPS panel Asus chose to use instead, as Anandtech discovered in their review.

Amazing, Zenfone 2 refuses to lay down.... although the battery issue should be sorted with the update

regs, 26 Jan 2016Yet another oversized shovel. I guess it's plastic backside, not metal. And why dated 22 nm SoC?The dated 22 nm Baytrail SoC is somehow more power-efficient then the new, improved 14 nm CherryTrail SoC. All the new 14 nm tablets somehow get worse battery life then the last gen.
