Well, the N8 is much better technically, HDMI, dolby surround, 12 millions pixel from carl Zeiss! Xenon flash, and has a better design, different colors, aluminium casing (before the i phone!). Question will the S8500 be cheaper than the N8 which is very competitive... let's wait and see...

The Sony Ericsson Elm takes better pictures. Better noise reduction, contrast, and saturation. It looks really pleasant. This one looks a bit too over processed and noisy.

To be honest, I don't think the quality of the video footage is that great. It is still too staggered. Won't be too long though before it gets there.

I love Nokia but the N8 has low display resolution in compare with WAve!
And the camera lens part of the n8 looks really ugly !
Symbian 3 has no changes too...
im nokia user but the n8 is a shame believe me

Anonymous, 04 May 2010In N8 only the camera is better than wave. Otherwise N8 sucks.Also wave has super amoled display, which gives you extra pleasure while you browse photos or videos. No comparison with other competitors. Good job samsung. U rokz.

Good quality but the satio and vivaz have better video recording. Guys I am very honest with you I mean it. I'm sure even satio and vivaz owners agree that the video recording quality is better than the samsung wave.
Trust me I'm not saying this because I am a SE fan, I'm just being honest with my dear readers that's all.

the n8 isnt out yet..nokia have to prove themselves, but if their previous touchscreens are anything to go by they may have a bleak future..samsung,lg.apple.htc do it so much better

Anonymous, 04 May 2010The N8 is just the beggining, imagine a N900 with the camera of the N8!! :) Samsung Sucks!!Give it a rest. Android, WinMo 7 Series, and iPhone is the future. By the time n8 comes, they'll have slick looking phones with flashy UI's and thousands of 3D games and apps. No one is even developing apps for Nokia's os anymore. lol. Nokia will die. =))

Very impressive device hopefully there will be some optimizations on the camera cuz noisy affects some details in photo capture. Can't wait to get my hands on this device.

nokia has never ever though about creativity in their product its all about strategy...why everyone is comparing it with n8...n8 doesn't have super amoled display...and symbian is crap
