With Data limits only increasing in this day and age an WIFI being virtually everywhere in better developed countries, storage isn't as much a deal for many as you might believe.
All in all, if it doesn't suit you, don't buy an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S6. There are plenty of options. But millions of users don't seem to care.
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2016I would say only a niche number of users do not care for sd card, file managers, FM radio and ... moreWell, there are a number of downsides to SD cards:
And FM Radio? Who needs low-quality radio when you can stream online? It's a thing of the past.
As for removable batteries. I've not seen any of my friends or colleagues carry around a spare battery, but EVERYONE has a USB Powerbank. So that solves the non-removable battery issue.

Honest Realist, 28 Jan 2016Exactly! Hats off to you sir. And in other news I love pizza :)And I know people are still having only 16GB in their flagship fruity phones! Talk about being archaic!

Who gives a flying fuck about the ports being cha... moreExactly, "ports" are not a strict user need, it's part of ever changing technology. The same reason we don't use VGA ports for video output any longer, and instead have the much better HDMI port.

That's a very niche segment of users that keep on insisting on such features, which in Apple's eyes only cause problems.

Who gives a flying fuck about the ports being changed? Throw your old shit away and buy new shit. It's not that hard. and if you cant then you will get the new ports in the damn box. I bet your one of those children who love constantly changing themes and icons, for well, who knows why, FM radio? Dude my car has one and even then I NEVER USE IT. Apple Music is a thing you know. See where this is going? They change markets, they are at the steering wheel, and the rest follow. Need an example? Well this article is one. You wanna laugh? Here's a joke: There are still people out there who still use Micro SD's! I know hard to believe! lol
matt00112233, 27 Jan 2016Difference is ? You still get a brand new Samsung, only a new samsung and and not any other br... morei also get a brand new samsung ? or iphone, or lg, or lumia or what ever brand i want ? so again, what is the difference between downpayment from brand or from carrier ? both give you a cheap phone here and now, both gets downpayed and both have upgrade possilities ? so, what is the diffence once again ?
harlekkin, 27 Jan 2016Pretty accurate argument if you ask me. Have curved screens and edges really satisfied custome... moreHave nonremovable batteries and absence of an SD card slot (and giving a measly 1GB RAM, changing their ports at will, lack of customisation, lack of a file manager, FM radio etc.. I could go on and on) satisfied any user needs? Don't make me laugh.
You mean the same program Samsung fanboys were all insulting when Apple announced it?
Mkdc, 27 Jan 2016I guess samsung is just doing what they do best... copying? haha indeed
They should do a version of the S7 with a removable battery and a microSD port with a 6 inch screen.
This would be the perfect phablet !
